Prayer point: Father, according to Romans 6:12, Let sin no longer reign over my spirit, soul or body. Lord, terminate sin's death mission in my life.
This season, all will be well with you if you allow the Lord Jesus Christ to take charge over your life and situation. Are you poor or desperately in need? Poverty will soon become a thing of the past in your life because Philippians 4:19 says God will supply all your needs according to His heavenly abundance. In other words, even when your personal, local or national economy is out of shape, God's heavenly economy continues to bubble: it never goes out of shape. If somebody tells you that you cannot achieve your God- given goal because you are out of funds, tell the fellow that the One who commissioned you on that assignment never runs out of funds. The Lord will provide for every task He has given you to do this season. He will also supply the needed strength because Philippians 4:13 says you can achieve virtually anything because of the strength Jesus supplies. You shall not lack both spiritual and physical strength with which to serve the Lord this year.

Our assurance that all will be well is also hinged on the fact that the Lord deals with problems starting from its root. Romans 6:23 says,
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord?
The immediate or remote destination of any act of sin is death. A thief who is caught stealing may be shot dead. A fornicator who sleeps with one who is not his or her spouse could contract venereal diseases or even the AIDS virus, which can culminate in death. What of anger, malice and bitterness? If you take stock of those who died prematurely, you will be shocked to know how many people are victims of these sins. Hypertension, high blood pressure, heart failure, heartache, and some other sudden death dispensers have their links with such emotional sins. Even lies, no matter how small, tiny or insignificant will keep the sinner from heaven and cause the fellow to die the second death (Revelation 21:8). So when God says you should keep away from sin, He is only making a clarion call to life; He wants you to live. For you to live, you must deal with the problem of sin in your life. Any sin that is present in your life is simply leading you to hell. Break away from it today!

CCTV punch attacks: Nigerian Michael Ayoade jailed for 4 years

The 35 year old Nigerian man, Michael Ayoade, who was caught on CCTV punching a teenage girl and a female student, and leaving them unconscious on the ground, has been jailed for four years.

Michael attacked female student, Daniella Montieth, in 2011, without any provocation. She was taken to the hospital with a broken tooth after he hit her in the side of the head at Plaistow tube station. Then on November 13th 2012 he jogged up behind a 16-year-old girl in the High Street and punched her in the head. The teenager fell to the ground, breaking three of her teeth. (pictured above)

During his trial, Ayoade said the teenager had "looked at him in a rude way" and that he could not go through the rest of the day having taken "an insult from a little person like that".

Ayoade was yesterday sentenced to four years in prison for the attack on the teenager and 19 months for punching the student. The two sentences will run concurrently.

31 year old Ashish Thakkar is Africa’s youngest billionaire. Born in Uganda, the young billionaire was just 13 when he and his family had to flee the continent to escape the Rwandan genocide. He started his entrepreneurial journey at age 15 after taking a $6,000 loan to start his first company.

The journey led him to found Mara Group which has become one of the largest information technology companies in Africa.

The HKN artiste, was in the institution to perform at the First Bank-sponsored Youth Excel Programme. After he held his audience captive with a great performance, the students refused to let him leave, trailing him to his car.

Davido, who just released controversy ridden single, ‘Gobe’, however took it in good faith.

If you want to see ‘environmentally unsafe’ markets in Lagos, visit Mushin, Oyingbo, Oshodi, Barriga, Yaba and some other markets which for obvious reasons they are treated and seen by Lagos Government as ‘no-go areas’ for ‘closures’".

Policeman Accidentally Shoots Himself While Trying On Clothing

If you have a gun in your pocket, be careful how you try on clothing. Do not shoot yourself.

A retired New York State Police investigator has accidentally shot himself in the knee while trying on new clothes in a department store dressing room.

Colonie Police say 56-year-old Robert Talbot of Ballston Spa suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound around 8:20 pm at a Sears store in Colonie Center Mall. A .22 caliber pistol in his pocket was set off accidentally.

Talbot is being treated at a hospital. The police said that his injury does not appear to be life threatening.

8 Lesbian Girls Expelled From Secondary School

Barely a week after the the local newspaper covered a story about the rising number of lesbians in Girls High Schools all over the country, the administration has now sent home eight girls over the matter.

The school’s principal, Pacifica Nyambong’i said that a group of eight students in Form Two, who were also jointly being investigated for arson claims, had been sent home and others readmitted after undergoing counseling and promising to change. The principal admitted that some Form Two students confessed to being lesbians who had lovers in the school while other girls denied the allegations.

Two Nigerians Nabbed In Ghana Over $12 Million Cocaine

Officials of the Narcotics Control Board (NACOB) have made the largest seizure of cocaine in recent years at the Tema Harbour.

The drug, estimated to be 200 kg, with a street value of $12 million, was concealed in a 40-footer container filled with 1,946 boxes of shampoo imported from Bolivia in South America.

The owner of the drug is believed to be Chief Sunny Ekechukwu Benji Eke, a 53-year-old Nigerian businessman. He has been arrested together with another accomplice, James Elekechukwu (47), a second-hand clothing dealer in Accra.
