His Vehicle Plunged Into The Lagoon...and He survived it!!!Meet The Driver,Shola Oladimeji

On the 26 of January 2013(some few weeks ago),there was widespread news and frenzy that a jeep had skidded off the Third Mainland Bridge and plunged into the Lagoon.Yes the story was true, but some facts were distorted and untrue.Meet the driver of the Toyota Sienna bus,SHOLA OLADIMEJI,as he recounts what really happened and how God saved his life...

                                          The Driver,Shola Oladimeji

I lost a friend last week thursday and it hit me so hard,I did not really enjoy the whole of last weekend. But two things happened last Sunday that cheered me up,I got to meet the driver whose bus plunged into the Lagoon some few weeks ago,and secondly...you can guess,Nigeria won the AFCON Cup!!!

I really did not feel like going to church last Sunday, but my spirit told me to attend the Sunday service.Just as we were about rounding up,our pastor asked the congregation a question..."how many of you heard the story about the driver whose car plunged into the Lagoon some few weeks ago...and survived"?..Almost everybody had their hands raised...including me.Our pastor further told us that the driver was in the congregation and would like to share the testimony of how God saved his life.

Shola Oladimeji(the driver) then came out and narrated how the accident happened and how God saved his life.Briefly,he said he couldnt remember exactly how the car skidded of the bridge, but he suddenly found himself at the bottom of the lagoon, whilst still in the car.A voice told him to keep calm and he did.He unhooked his seatbelt and found that he could open one of the doors. As he opened the door,he saw a ray of light and a voice told him to follow the light. He was like..."But I cant even swim".He obeyed anyways and up till the time of the testimony,he never knew how he swam to the top!!!

Upon emerging to the surface,Some fishermen saw him and took him out of the water into their boat...and they said to him..."Oga,this is a miracle, nobody has ever fallen into this lagoon and survived!!!"..
It simply had to be a divine intervention...the whole congregation stood up and praised the Living God.

And ofcourse, after the service,I caught up with Shola to"tap" some of that annointing that saved him from death that day...the Lord is surely good...all the time!!!
